Not the most comfortable sail we’ve had. Choppy waves. 1st day with 2 reefs in the main. 2sd with full main. Good speed overall. Sunny
Not much wind but we have to get going to be at A Coruña by Friday… Euh… Max speed 37.6 kn …. I don’t think so .. :)
Our departure was delayed as we raise the anchor, the chain was heavily covered of dark, sticky goo. Took us almost a hour to clean it while raising it and we were off. After the storm, the waves welcomed us with no mercy :) Will continue our trip up to A Coruña on Wednesday.
A storm is coming so we just left for a better shelter deep in the Ria, motoring with Solent out. As we were leaving Bueu, the wind picked up to 43kn and the stabilized around 25-30 kn. As we arrived at Combarro, the wind had almost died down but a short and strong hail and thunderstorm, above the village, welcomed us as we anchored.. So far our electronic seems damaged…no more informations on the screen.
Rainy ….just sailing around the corner to get out of the marina.

Good wind at first but ended up motoring for 2hours. Nice calm anchorage! Beautiful sunny day! Genaker all day.
Genaker all the way. Beautiful day, lots of dolphins. Even spotted some pilot whales.

Crossing the bay of Biscay is a first for us. First night watches too. Lots of tacking, some light sea sickness but very good sailing!
That was a long headwind sail ! Very slow start then the wind pick up and we made some progress :)
