We left Slate Island around 7am this morning and headed towards Petit Manan light and then around Schoodic Point. After a stop in Southwest Harbor for fuel and water, we continued on to Great Cranberry.
Sailing in Maine has taught us how to keep a sharp lookout for lobster pots! Having to constantly dodge them is definitely making us better sailors 🦞 ⛵
We're heading Down East!
We had the most beautiful day of sailing from Bar Harbor to Great Cranberry! The wind was blowing and we sailed the whole trip 🌊🦊
We left Cuttyhunk around 5am and made our way to Cape Cod Canal! Our canal crossing was easy and quick, and we headed towards Provincetown to anchor for the night. During our passage across Cape Cod Bay, the wind was not in our favor and we were facing directly into 4-5ft waves. After a few long upwind legs, we made it to our anchorage!
July 4th weekend from HYC to Mobjack Bay, friday-sunday.
