We are a family of 4 that has been sailing Australia and SouthEast Asia since 2014. In 2022 we bought a Pearson 530 in San Diego and have been fixing her up to continue sailing the world currently in Mexico.
One crew member short for this one. Taj decided to go surfing instead. We had a pretty great crossing light winds dodged storms just ride the winds from them. Had to motor a little bit here and there but considering this can be a Rough passage we are grateful it wasn’t. Caught a yellow fin and a mahi so stoked.
We thought we would be stopping and surfing down this coastline but instead we have had to miss a few places 🥲 this passage we had thunderstorms and rain crazy lightning not real fun for the first night. But had so many dolphins day and night with us.
A pretty good sail really arrived in Acapulco anchored of the little island and the water was clear and Acapulco was a great stop.
This was supposed to be an overnight sail but the wind dropped out and we decided to pull into an anchorage instead of bobbing about in no wind.
Lovely calm sail with light winds and not much swell and the full moon 🌕 a lovely way to spend Mothers Day 🥰
Nice sail no fish unfortunately apart from flying fish landing on the deck. Too much swell to stop where we planned but it’s really nice to be in a still anchorage for the night.
Lovely little sail to get fuel and food
Calm no wind sail / motor. We had some fuel issues a couple times but we arrived and hopefully now we get some waves 🌊
Lovely light wind sail with our spinnaker until the wind dropped to nothing, we were bobbing about moving at 1 knot until we gave in and motored the final 30nm.
Pretty good sail rough start with some swell and motored the last 50nm when the wind dropped out. Caught a bloody nice fish to keep us fed too😁
Little run to get some eggs and fruit
