At sea for very long time. Mainly organising voyages out of the beaten tracks. Some time just testing my limits and getting to know my boat. End of June 2025 I will get back in the water on my exploration sailing vessel (the one in my profile). We will head out in the Pacific Ocean from BCS-Mexico. Destination: probably some remote atoll of Marquesas, where we haven’t yet altered the balance of nature. The best way to see what we are missing is not to remember them but to live them! I am Planning to stand some time in the outskirts of French Polinesia and surroundings. Collecting data for smart people that are putting a lot of effort in saving Nature.
Exploring the islands of Praline and Ladigue, visiting land and diving spots.
Let’s start another mission with Odisea and the exploration team. Great life underwater!
All fine up to the Venezuelan coast. Loads of thunderstorms and erratic current. St. Helena is a pearl of the sea. Great sailing
And we have arrived! After months and months of sunny dry weather…. We arrived in Seychelles after 2 days of squalls that rinsed the boat from the Red send we have collected during 4 months in the Red Sea. All well though.
Left Jeddah for Seychelles via Socotra. Half trip battling winds and waves against us. Now ready for a 1.000 nm of good sailing south!
A shake down and transfer to the Red Sea. Expediting in Sudan in hot August, delivery to Djibouti to change plans next day and sail back up to Jeddah. Now at the Red Sea Week at Sindalah Resort. Getting ready for the Indian Ocean.
A fantastic stop at the marvels San Blas! Before crossing the Panama Canal. That is by itself another fantastic experience.
Cold and wild navigation between fronts. Got finally to Cape Town with no hydraulic power and an awful vibration from the PTO.
