It was a blustery morning with high wonds and choppy waters off the shore of Cleveland and here we were doing man overboard drills. The rescue crews were already at the boat dock ramp when we shoved off the docks. We soon found out that they had rescued some boaters who had crashed their power boat into the breakwall. What could possibly go wrong today. 🤣🤣

Im taking my ASA 104 course this weekend with learn to sail Cleveland! We sailed from Edgewater to mentor and back to Edgewater, didn’t have much wind so to kill the time I decided to teach an old sea dog some new tricks, now my sailing instructor knows how to do a flying bowline.

Hi guys! I’m doing ASA 104 this weekend and have had a ton of fun! I’ll save you all the sob story, but I have pretty significant nerve damage on my left sign as a result from brain cancer as a kid. I’ve come a long way and proving to myself and showing others that I can do just about anything and sailing in no exception. If a pirate with a hook for a hand can sail then I can sail!

Day sail from Edgewater Park Marina in Cleveland up to Mentor Marina as part of an ASA-104 course today. Fun time with a great crew!!!
