Finally arrived in Porto Santo after almost 6 days at sea ⛵️🌊The wind was in the complete opposite direction of the weather forecast for the first half of the trip, so we had to tack into the wind, making the journey take 6 days instead of the 4 we had planned. We had nearly flat seas and sunshine the entire wait, and now we’re looking forward to exploring Porto Santo and Madeira over the next few days😎

Today was mostly motor and motorsailing , but at least the weather was on our side—sunny skies and calm, flat water. ☀️
Had a shorter sail today, thanks to some trial and error getting that rope out of the propeller from yesterday 😅 Thankfully, a local hero in Camariñas came to the help 🙌🧜🏼♂️
Motorsailing for the most today, until we got rope in the propeller 😮 It was quite a swell, so we sailed to an anchorage nearby. Diving to hopefully get it loose tomorrow 🧜🏼♂️🤿
