We are a family of 4 that has been sailing Australia and SouthEast Asia since 2014. In 2022 we bought a Pearson 530 in San Diego and have been fixing her up to continue sailing the world currently in Mexico.
Join us for a live conversation on The SeaPeople about our life on the sea! We can’t wait to share our story and how we as a family made it work for over a decade https://dashboard.seapeopleapp.com/trip/e5719a97-9ce1-4d9f-9a50-4dd2eebf939b
This was a passage full of head winds squalls and swell not ideal. But we had meals prepared and no major issues. We crossed the bar into El Salvador no problems and stoked to be here.
One crew member short for this one. Taj decided to go surfing instead. We had a pretty great crossing light winds dodged storms just ride the winds from them. Had to motor a little bit here and there but considering this can be a Rough passage we are grateful it wasn’t. Caught a yellow fin and a mahi so stoked.
We thought we would be stopping and surfing down this coastline but instead we have had to miss a few places 🥲 this passage we had thunderstorms and rain crazy lightning not real fun for the first night. But had so many dolphins day and night with us.
A pretty good sail really arrived in Acapulco anchored of the little island and the water was clear and Acapulco was a great stop.
