The sea is calling, but Voyages of Agápē isn't tracking right now. Come back later!
Agápē Nui
Ventura, California
We are Josh and Rachel, and we've been cruising full-time since 2016. 📍Currently in French Polynesia aboard Agápē Nui, a Leopard 4600. The name Agápē means unconditional love, embracing flaws, and giving without expecting anything in return. The Voyages of Agape began 14 years ago as a dream to sail around the world. Seeking a life closer to nature, we turned this dream into reality in 2014 by purchasing our first floating home, Agápē, a 1984 Tayana 42. Now, ten years into our adventure, Voyages of Agápē is beginning a new chapter as we have purchased a new vessel to continue our voyage around the world. Agápē Nui (Nui meaning big in Tahitian), a Leopard 46 located in French Polynesia, will not only be our new home but also a platform to host expeditions for prospective cruisers and like-minded adventurers. We are excited to share our knowledge and experience, hoping to inspire others to set sail on their own dreams.
A beautiful and easy overnight sail from Mo’orea to Raiatea. Tomorrow we haul out to get Agápē Nui ready for our cruising season.
Every year Steve on Liward hosts a sunset concert on the back of his boat and cruisers are invited to join on their tenders. It started back during Covid and has become an annual event here in Mo’orea! So many people showed up this season 🙌🏼
After two awesome weeks of having Josh’s mom onboard it’s time to say goodbye. We had a beautiful calm sail over to Tahiti. The new crew will be arriving soon 🙌🏼
Glassy conditions today were perfect for spotting wildlife! Moved anchorages for a few days and spotted a few humpbacks and sea turtles along the way.
Heading to Mo’orea for the start of humpback whale season! 🩵🐋
