More training on this stunning boat. Everything still feels very new and it’s a lot to take in but there’s something kind of awesome about that period where everything is uncomfortable. It’s the growth zone. It makes me feel kinda stupid and like I don’t know anything about sailing and at the same time I know that just by being there and feeling that way, I’m one step closer to everything becoming second nature. It can be humbling but it’s a good reminder to have grace for myself, because it’s impossible to be perfect at something you’re doing for the first time! I have a feeling working on this boat is gonna give me lots of opportunities to improve in areas you don’t necessarily get as much practice with when offshore sailing. Also- my eyesight is gonna get razor sharp because holy frick it’s hard seeing nav lights against the backdrop of New York City skyscrapers… Anyways- all good stuff ❤️
