8 days after our first attempt at going down to Raroia, it was time for take two. Gone were the dreamy 15 knots on the beam from the first run, and instead we saw mostly 9-12 knots of wind from 150 degrees TWA which made for a slower but frankly still easy passage. While a number of boats opted to stay behind in Taiohae in hopes of more navegable wind conditions, Stardust’s lean frame means we’ve been enjoying these turquoise blue lagoons many days longer.
