Solid offshore jump to our home state of North Carolina! Departed Beaufort SC with light winds which was preferable for the inlet, but once we were in the Atlantic we were only sailing at 3kn. Motored till the wind filled in that evening and had some glorious sailing with 10-12kn on the beam almost all night. From there it was a tease of wind holes where we’d have to motorsail till we found the next patch of wind. Grabbed a ball in Carolina Beach in preparation for a cold front that looks like a nasty one!
