Started the day bright and early in Charleston, South Carolina, playing real-life Frogger with massive freighters in the harbor. Then we hit the ocean, where the waves were auditioning for their role as the next big roller coaster—rolly and relentless. Just when we thought we’d caught a break with a blissful hour of smooth, champagne sailing, the rolly chaos made a dramatic comeback like a bad sequel no one asked for. After dark, things mellowed out… for a grand total of 30 minutes, before the waves cranked up to 7 feet, and it was back to dodging cargo ships like some nautical obstacle course. The grand finale? A white-knuckle sprint through a pitch-black, narrow canal, where we tried (and failed) to find calm seas. Finally, we dropped anchor just as the sun peeked over the horizon—because nothing says “adventure” like surviving the night!
