SAILING AROUND LANGKAWI ISLAND

We just spent five incredible days sailing around Langkawi , weaving through local villages, visiting small fisheries, and exploring the maze of mangrove channels. Each night we dropped anchor in hidden coves, completely alone with no other boats in sight. The wildlife was unreal — monkeys swinging through the trees, sea eagles soaring above, and monitor lizards patrolling the shore. To top it off, our little boat cat had her first sailing lessons, making the trip even more memorable. It wasn’t all smooth sailing: we dealt with an electrical battery failure, had to climb the mast to get the Jib off, and got caught in some early monsoon squalls with thunder rumbling overhead. But even with those hiccups, nothing compares to the stillness of this island — watching massive ships cruise through the Malacca Strait by day, then falling asleep to the silence of the jungle at night. Pure magic 🌙⛵🐒🦅🐈
