Found amazing wind right out of Newport harbor and was able to make sustained 8kts of boat speed on a beam reach flying the staysail and Genoa. Had 30 minutes of this the wind just died. Motored a lot then sailed slowly in 7-8kts of wind. Still a beautiful day and happy to be on Nantucket for a couple of weeks. Recorded this GPX files on our ships chart plotter
