Ah an attempt to leave the barnegat inlet was a miss. Current was meant to pull us out but with the easterlies the current was delayed and made our engine work twice as hard. With about another mile to head out into the ocean engine was smoking more than we were comfortable with and Pete made the call to turn around. The swell at our bow was about 2-3ft and winds at our nose. About 50 degrees and cloudy. We push on tomorrow!! AC we’re coming 😵💫
