Great Sex Cove > Savoury Island

Perhaps the day we all laughed the MOST on this 11 day cruise as three ladies. The day started rather normal as we woke up in our little slice of paradise at great sex cove. The resident spotted seals were just begining to splash about, and the loons still calling out as we pulled our stern line, pulled up the anchor and headed out. We had a short day ahead of us. Only aprox. 19nm to get to Savoury Island which would get us on site ate mermaid beach early so we could get ready to enjoy a day on land. Savoury island is known for its incredible white sand beaches and with the Mermaid Beach Club having their final community DJ night that evening we were excited for our day. We motored pretty much all the way to savoury - except for 10 mins where we e got the foresail out just as we emerged from Teakerene Arm. The wind quickly died once again so we put the foresail away and motored on. We arrived at savoury and were lucky to know a guy who knew another guy who let us use their mooring buoy. We made breakfast of egg and salami wraps. Chilled for a bit. Then headed to land as three girls on one paddle board which is where our giggle fits began and remained for the rest of the night. We enjoyed amazing cocktails and pizza at the MBC, jaw dropping sunset, lots of belly laughs, lemonades with tequila and dancing to the local DJ. By 10:30 we were ready to go home and as we arrived at the waters edge we noticed the increíble bioluminescence!!! We’re talking about insane swirling galaxy super bright bioluminescence. Once back at the boat we went for a swim and it was the most incredible experience. We all went to bed very tired, way too dehydrated, but very happy.
