From squalls to 0 knots of wind, to learning how to use a spinnaker and sail successfully with the gusts on a monohull, it was an insane day. Finished the regatta with 7 minutes to spare! Mattie taught me how to ease into the gusts to prevent heeling over too far - crazy how different a monohull is to my catamaran! Leg two on Sunday 🏴☠️🇬🇩
