We were thinking, after speaking to divers, seatow, and others that it is very unlikely that the 83 year old Yuri will be able to retrieve his 2 of the 3 anchors that are stuck in the mud, bound together and likely under debris. He is devastated. He is not on SeaPeople but send the word out for help and ideas if you can! If anyone wins the challenge and wants to donate an old anchor in the area that would be great too!!! Unfortunately this all just happened yesterday but what a coincidence that our community had the power to make change! I have his contact information but will not post it here in case you want to speak to him. He is hard of hearing by the way.
