Indian River, Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, FL, USA

Jun 13, 2025 - Jun 14, 2025

A perfectly uneventful crossing. Dropped anchor for one last night and will pull into a slip tomorrow. It’s been nearly 9 months since the big boat has touched a dock, so it’s no surprise we’re feeling a bit feral. Time to clean things up and move off the boat before hauling out in about a week. It’s all feeling very real now. But first, a ridiculously long land shower and a massive Pub sub. Ready to go back already. So many incredible memories! 🇧🇸

Florida is already within sight thanks to the Gulf Stream push. It was clearly time to come back to the states because there’s not much left of our Bahamian 🇧🇸 courtesy flag.

Squalls over the bank

Managed to squeak between most of the afternoon squalls. The one that caught us left behind a pretty cool rainbow. Very happy we reefed early. 😅 Enjoying the last sunset over the big water for a while.
