Left Jewel Island late afternoon Friday in search of fuel and water at Dolphin Marina. Had to go through a minefield of lobster traps After an unsuccessful attempt we anchored as the Goslings for the night, a cute little group of islands just outside of Freeport with trails and a small number of campsites. That’s where we ran into the beautiful boat Resilience owned Tripp and Kiera. They were hosting a group of navy cadets aboard. Ended up hip-tied to their boat at the fuel dock and getting a tour below deck! We are on the same path north so hope to catch them again further north. Brewer So Freeport Marina was wonderful! They have a curtesy car to take if needed since Ubers are not readily available. Took a trip into downtown Freeport for some outlet shopping and of course visiting L L Beans. Brian loved the slippers. We ended up on a floating dock for the night. And had some local Maine visitors on Lost of sundowners. Once this rain stops we will make a hop further north.
