Woah… that was the biggest change of plans we’ve had in a long time. Every time we plan a sailing season, we know things will shift. Flexibility is a big part of this life. But this time, we tried twice to leave this island of Guam and head east toward the rest of Micronesia and then the Solomon Islands, and both times the weather held us back. Once, we even had to turn back to adjust our rigging. Eventually, we stopped resisting and decided to go where the wind actually wants to take us.. Palau. Let’s go!! 🤩🤩
