Tonga to New Zealand (via Minerva Reef)

And we’re off to New Zealand… We set sail from Tonga after clearing out and cleaning the hull, bound for New Zealand with the hope of stopping off in Minerva. The weather was spotty but wind on the beam with 20-25 knots and 3-4 m seas for the first day and seas to follow. Nothing we haven’t experience before, but with new crew aboard it was a good intro to what to expect beyond Minerva. As time went on, wind reduced to 15-20 knots and smoother seas (2-3m) After 2 days, made into Minerva reef for a small reprieve until the winds speak up again for us to leave for NZ.
