Not a bad day after a foggy start

After another foggy morning, we hit almost champagne sailing conditions heading into Charleston—20 knots of wind just aft of the beam and flat water, pure bliss. Now we’re hanging tight, waiting for the next weather window to head further south. In the meantime, we’re exploring the town until Sunday. Fair warning, though: if you’ve got an older boat and try plugging into shore power at Safe Harbor Marina, brace yourself. The whole pedestal will shut down, and you’ll be kindly asked to unplug forever. Oh well, we’re used to being self-sufficient anyway!
