It was a pretty chilled passage today. We rigged up a jerry can to act as a temporary fuel tank to feed the engine, and it ran for the full 4-ish hours with no problem. So it's clearly a fuel supply issue that's been causing the engine to stall. We think there's dirt in the tank clogging the pipe/tap, so we'll have to run down the fuel to give it a proper clean later in the year. Otherwise, the sea was beautiful and calm today. Basically no wind, so we just used the main to help with the little swell and give us a fraction of a knot more speed. But that was okay, as we needed to test our engine bodge anyway 😂 We did get some dolphins come right up to the boat to investigate, but they didn't stay for long and I wasn't quick enough to get my camera out. Oh well, sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the moment without looking through a lens 📷 We'll be anchored in Findhorn for a few days now until our next weather window to get us to Inverness, where we'll be leaving the boat and Opie for a few days to go to a gig in Glasgow that we're really excited about 😁 Until then, this place looks really beautiful and we can't wait to explore.
