Bypassing Beaufort, NC .. aiming for Onslow bridge passage at the buzzer!

Plans changed today. Originally wanted to spend a few days in Beaufort, NC as per many recommendations.. after further due diligence, we decided to bypass altogether and shoot for the Onslow Bridge - which we learned closes Monday at 7am - Thursday evening for construction.. instead of getting jammed up waiting locally or motoring offshore with very low winds, we decided to b-line it as far as we could to make it either tonight or first thing in the morning. The sun set early and we decided to refuel/hang for the night in Swansboro, NC with plans to head out around 4/4:30am. Wish we had more time in this super enchanting town !! Lastly, we were “attacked” by a family of dolphins this morning. They circled our vessel and put on quite the show! Such amazing creatures
