Back on the water ⛵️

Yay – my first sailing trip as captain! 👩🏼‍✈️ Everything was going great… until I got sick – strep throat, fever and overall fatigue. I’m laughing about it now, but trying to find a doctor and antibiotics while hopping between tiny islands (where you’re lucky to even find fresh bread) wasn’t exactly fun. 😩🤒 I felt guilty that I couldn’t even get out of bed, but Jakub handled taking care of the boys brilliantly. 🧡 The boys were so excited to be on the boat. We really enjoyed the early season: quiet bays, barely any people, and even some warm water already. The best thing I packed? Art supplies – paper and colors. Every day we had a new little art exhibition on board with the boys’ drawings. 🏞️🎆🌅 There’s something special about family sailing. 🧡Time slows down. We cooked good food every day, discovered new places, and I even managed to read a book. And as for sailing – I’m feeling more and more confident at the helm. Even docking doesn’t spike my heart rate like it used to. 😅💪🏼
