We left Edgartown with following wind around 12 knots. As we cleared the protection of the island, the wind increased to 16 knots on the beam for much of the passage. We battled an opposing current until we reached to mouth off the channel. As we neared Block Island, the wind increased to 30 knots on the nose for the rest of the trip... Yuck. Super glad to find a mooring ball and call it a day once in the harbor at Block Island.
