Day 8 - Upwind Bashing 🌊

36 hours of upwind conditions. 25-35 knots and 2 metre seas at 5 second intervals. 😵‍💫 We hover to for a few hours and then just crawled along making slow progress. 2 reefs in the main and a tiny napkin of a Genoa. Glad that’s done! Now the wind has dropped 10-15 knots and it is very pleasant indeed. Unfortunately meant to keep dropping and will probably have to motor later today. Just 2 more days to go! Oh and we saw another boat! The first boat! A fishing boat, passed them 3 miles away. A bird (Noddy) tried (and failed) to land but a squid succeeded landing on the deck! 😬
