🥶 Annapolis ➡️ Fernandina Beach 🏝️

5 day sail with temps in the low 40s and into the high 70s. We could feel the weather gradually improve each day. We had a good stretch of sailing, made it around Hatteras pretty easily. The wind changed towards the end of the trip, making for a bad angle side swell. But we got into the groove of things by the end of day two and felt we could have gone all the way to the Bahamas🇧🇸! If only we had provisioned, but also wanted to catch up with @sailingisabella and meet the newest crew member ISLA 👶 Had to run the engines on a few times throughout the passage but overall a great 5 day passage! Saw a lot of boats out there on the water, everyone just leaving the Annapolis boat show (after all getting sick and recovering) We buddy boated with @sailingvinyasa and @outerpassage managed to sail right by us on their trimaran! I think we had a lot of growth under our bottom which slowed us down a knot or two…probably averaged about 5knots the whole trip.
