12 hours of Rolly Polly Fun

We weighed anchor at 7 am after Adams creek anchorage-1 provided excellent protection from the 15-20 knot wind south. Once entering the Neuse River, we were fully exposed to the favorable but strong south wind. This made for an uncomfortable but very fast run to Goose Creek Island thoroughfare. Once past RE Mayo and Eastham Creek we were once again exposed to strong winds and fetch driven waves crossing the Pamilco and Pungo Rivers. With time on our hands, we skipped stopping at Bellhaven and pushed for the alligator/pungo canal arriving just before sunset. I am tired!
