First part of the crossing to Grand Bahama presented us with 5 to 6 feet waves and about 20 - 22 knots of wind. During the second half the wind died and the waves flattened to probably a foot or so. No more wind against current and life on board was good. We rolled into Old Bahama Bay and cleared customs with the friendliest customs and immigration ladies you could ever hope to meet. Now we’re tucked in for the night, sipping something cold, and gearing up for tomorrow when the real Bahamas adventure begins. Bring on the sunshine, conch fritters, and turquoise waters!
