No one warned me how hard cruising would be—or how incredible. No one told me that we’d meet amazing people from all over, sail together, spear fish, build bonfires, watch spaceX fiascos, and turn morning nets into comedy hours (clothing-optional bonfire, anyone?). We went to Floatchella and it just continued. Had fishing missions, and spontaneous challenges—all thanks to basically swiping right on the SeaPeople app for badass boaters. Now, the squad, we’re not breaking up, just taking a pause as we head our own ways, hoping to meet again one day. From wild spear missions in Shroud to floating lazy rivers, game night, water sports and more, we’ve learned that age, boat type, kids—none of it matters. What matters is the vibe: good people, good times, and adventure. Huge shoutout to SV Lost for creating a space that brings like-minded cruisers together. It’s made this journey way less daunting and way more fun. LOST welcomed us and showed us what this lifestyle is all about. Can’t wait to cross paths with our squad again!
