Bellanoch to Dunardry

Locks all closed and no traffic in the Canals today due to the absolutely mega downpours of last night and this morning (genuinely woke us up multiple times). Not likely to be any movement tomorrow either as they try to control the floods. We did manage to catch a short break in the rain, though, to whizz up from Bellanock Bridge to Dunardry - settling at the bottom of lock 13, ready to take the Staircase once movement is authorised. Apparently there's a bit more to do up here, and we needed to run the engine for the batteries anyway. Have moored as far back from the lock as possible just in case they need to let the water out 😂 Fingers crossed it won't be too uncomfortable if they do!!
