One Catalina crossing to go

It's odd, but somehow my mind still measures anything around 20 to 30 nautical miles as a crossing from Dana Point Harbor, Calif to the Isthmus at Catalina Island. That's the only sea "passage" we did growing up. It used to seem so long as a kid. Losing sight of land and not yet able to see the island. Staring at the compass knowing that if I didn't do a good job we could possibly miss the island. So, after almost 15,000NM sailed during the last year, we have a Catalina crossing left to go on this passage.

Easy miles, beautiful sunset in the South Pacific!

It's not often the wind and Sea state combine to make easy speed. Today was one of those days.

Movie day mid-passage

Great sail so far. After some strong winds and waves the first 36 hours it's mellowed out. That means we're making popcorn and watching a movie. Catamaran life is hard.

All electric circumnavigators

No wifi, AIS or much else electronic, but they're not burning any fossil fuels. We'll see them down in the Tuamotos and hopefully we can hear more about there story sailing from Jolly Old 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿half way around the world. Can you imagine the amount of tea/crumpets and Gin/Tonic aboard!? 😂
