Our first 3,500 NM of sailboat life ⛵

Our first 5 months of sailing have been amazing. We've gone from zero experience and we're figuring all of this out as we go. Every day is filled with firsts, mistakes, repairs, more mistakes, scary moments, exhausting days and the best experiences of our lives. 😁⛵♥️ We've spent every night (besides boatyard time🥴) on anchor so far and to think our first night anchoring was also the first night we trusted our homemade bridle splicing, new anchor, new swivel etc. It feels like we're living life more than ever before. Offroading around the world for the last few years has been exciting and fun, but nothing could prepare us for boatlife. (It did prepare us to think boatlife is WAY more spacious than truck life at least 🤣) In a couple more weeks of boatwork we'll be visiting our first new country via our own boat. It feels like we've done so much, but we look forward to looking back on these first 3,500 miles as a tiny baby step in our world sailing adventures. Here we go!! What could go wrong! 🤣🫠⛵⚓🔱
