Our sail today was pretty nice and relaxing, we chose to go on the west side of the islands to get some protection from the swell and current, but I think it put us into a false sense of security and now we’re sailing in a pretty steady 20 knots of wind, tight to the wind as we sometimes have a decent current pushing us west. We should make it to Trinidad in the morning around 8-9am We’ll be passing through the oil and gas rigs where there have been pirate attacks reported about 5 years ago so we’re feeling a little uneasy about that Our last sail for a while and she’s battering us a little, We’ll be very happy to arrive! 😅

Well Jase went overboard today from the bow! Stuff all wind so it’s a slow end to the sail! Wish us luck!

Got slammed today flying the gennekar with a big gust of wind and broke the split pin that holds the furling drum! Dicey wind and loads of rain, but a fun sail otherwise 😂 

Woohooo!! We’re travelling along at 6.3-7.1 knots hoping we atleast don’t come last 😂
