Back to Italy after a 13000 nautical miles sailing trip between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. I crossed the Atlantic ocean alone twice.
Much better than expected! I avoided storms, had no damage on board and even met a sperm whale
WELL... It was a crazy experience but it could have been better... The night before new year's eve the autopilot compass broke and I spent the next 17 days at the helm for about 17 hours a day. I also had engine and rigging problems. BUT.. The satisfaction when I dropped the anchor in Barbados was indescribable
