Come from a non-boating family but learned to sail in North Carolina when I was a kid, bought a CAL25 in Annapolis when I was a teen, met and married an Australian who is also a sailor/fisherman/crabber- he did come from a boating family. Have been enjoying the boat of our dreams with our 4 kids who grew up on the boat , daughter-in-law and new grand baby who will get his first chance aboard this Aussie winter 2025. We split our time between Queensland, Maui and Colorado. The boat of our dreams? An ocean-going catamaran houseboat that we bought for $50,000 27 years ago. We like to get onboard and stay aboard for 2-3 months. Will be looking to hitchhike up to YellowPatch this June. IYKYK
