Hi, my name is Camden Caldwell and I’m super excited to be interning for the team here at SeaPeople this summer! I grew up lakeside in North Carolina and have loved all things boating since I was a little kid. My favorite water activities are wake surfing, wake boarding, and trying to find hidden gems around LKN. Always looking for fun, interesting places to go so if you have any suggestions feel free to reach out!
Took a trip to High Rock lake to visit some family friends. Had a great time listening to live music and riding around on the jetski. If you’re ever on high rock lake definitely check out the events hosted by the high rock lake association.
Took the little cuzzos out tubing today. Also landed my first 360 on the wake surf board so pretty pumped about that. Saw a cool flight boarder which looked pretty fun to do.
Hopped on a new-to-me boat this weekend and took it for a quick lap around Wilmington. Still handles beautifully and not many boats challenge you when you’re packing a small airplane and 60 ft long deck turrets haha! Just playing around, but if you’re ever in Wilmington, NC you should definitely go check out the USS North Carolina.
Jet ski ride with @GavinMyers. He almost got lost and my ski is definitely faster than his (despite what he says 😅)
Had to take the Dawn Treader out for a post work cruise. Nice little sunset and we might’ve seen a doe shortly after giving birth on the shore.
