Nice slow sail. Caught a yellowtail snapper and a plastic bag along the way.
Great sail to Monument Beach, got to sail the entire way!
Pretty spirited sail with some bigger gusts into the high 20s. Pretty fast sail for our boat with a top speed of 10.3! Made it down to Staniel Cqy where we’ll stay a few days
We got sick of waiting in Rock Sound, so we took the downwind sail over to Allan’s Cay. Made it to the Exumas in really good time
Just motoring. We’re going to check out queens bath and glass window bridge before continuing down Eleuthera
Big day of sailing all points of sail. Started with the leftover wind from yesterday pushing us downwind. Cold front from the north hit us at about noon and we had 15-20 knots on the beam to close haul the rest of the way. Wind died pretty much as we anchored
We were able to sail nearly the whole way, pinching into the wind a bit most of the way. Never got the wind shift we were expecting, but we got close enough then motored the last few miles. Morning started out a bit rough, but the waves died down throughout the day. We got skunked on fishing though..
Slow sailing down to Hoffmans Cay. Caught a couple of Jacks, kept one.
We decided to take the nice 15-20 knot winds up the chain of Berry islands. From Chub cay to Grand Harbour cay. We were able to sail all but the last 5 miles as we started beating into the waves and had to go dead into the wind for the last leg. Caught 3 fish! A king mackerel as we barely were out of the anchorage; a blue runner Jack; and a barracuda we released back.
