I co own a small yacht in the south west. Building up experience to do my day skipper course in the future. Happy to help others with a bit of maintenance work in exchange for more sailing experience. I qualified as a mechanic when I left school, but have been a builder for the past 10 years, so there are very few practical tasks that I can’t have a good go at.

We set off at 6am from St Michael’s Mount harbour to catch the best of the wind and swell. We rounded the Lizard by sail at 10am, then by that time we were heading down wind, motor sailing most of the rest of the way. Dolphins greeted us as we entered Helford River, a welcome sight after 12 hours of sailing! Nauta looks very happy in her beautiful new Summer mooring.
