We said goodbye to our beloved Charlotte Elizabeth and hopped aboard Lost to help
@bri sail north
We sailed only 30% of the time and it’s such a difference compared to a monohull (I think I have been convinced our next boat will have an extra hull). A lot smoother floating over waves, and not living on an angle has its perks. We were alarmed by the crashing of waves in the bridge deck, something I guess you just get used to with catamarans 🤷🏻♀️
We rounded Hattaras with no wind and calm seas, even managed to get the black spinnaker out for a little bit. So enjoyable to sit out front and watch the sea all day! Now we’re stopping in Ocean City for the night :) so happy to see horizon sunsets again, it’s been too long
