*Married Couple looking for crew opportunities in 2026!* Hey I’m Austyn! I’m an artist and photographer. I spent a decade traveling and competing in a sport called Flowboarding, and now work remotely part time as an online business manager while also managing our rental property renovations and tenants. My husband Mike is a firefighter/EMT. He first stumbled upon SLV in 2019 and we’ve been dreaming of the liveaboard lifestyle ever since! We spent a week on a vessel in Greece for our honeymoon and are setting up to jump ship (har har) and live the dream while we still have our health. We crave a slower pace and connection to a like minded community. We are goofy and adventurous - sign us up for surfing, free diving, long hikes, new cultures and of course all the ups and downs of the sailing experience! We don’t have a ton of sailing experience (getting our ASA 101/103 in August 2025) but we are hard workers and very eager to learn! We are handy and willing to help with boat maintenance. I am looking to either bring my own Starlink or share internet expense to continue my flexible part time work and can offer photo/video/editing aboard. :)

Another beautiful day with a bit of racing, some MOBs and while headed back to the dock we rescued two paddle boarders literally stuck without a paddle. What a difference just a few days makes. Big thanks to GoSail Flathead Lake and our amazing instructors Bob and Jon for getting us up to speed! We’re sad to leave but already looking forward to the next sail.
What a week! Go Sail Flathead is the absolute best. Lovely humans and rock solid instruction.

Day 1 - learning basics with Captain Bob and Captain Lizzie aboard Inheritance - Catalina 25. Docking, points of sail, some gusty conditions to get used to. Day 2 mission: round Cromwell island! About 30nm total for the two days.
