We did the Eleuthera tour, it was short and sweet but we saw from Rock Sound to Governors Harbor then a quick trip to the Glass Window, through current Cut to Egg Island, Spanish Wells, and a final stop at Harbor Island (through the devils backbone 🏴‍☠️) before heading North to the Abacos! Highlights - Queen’s Bath near Glass Window on a day with huge waves, was pretty epic!! Egg Island Sand bar was a treat, not to miss, and then Harbor Island’s pink sand beaches are pretty incredible too, worth the stop! Not nearly enough time to see it all but we sure did see a lot!!

Just a quick stop over in Rock Sound while making our way up Eleuthera. Did not even leave the boat but it was a solid anchorage! Pretty and calm, couldn’t ask for more.

We used our code zero for the first time and it was amazing!! We saw speeds over 9.5 for quite a bit of our trip, which was very exciting. We really got some speed when we surfed down the waves and loved that the wind and waves were in our favor for a change ⛵️ We also hiked the hermitage hike up to Mount Alvernia which was really really beautiful. Definitely recommend!

We headed down to check out the infamous Cruiser’s Hang Out and were met with a week of never ending wind! We made the most of our hiking and provisioning and of course beach bar drinking, but it was definitely a soggy experience haha. We got a mooring ball off of Chat & Chill and the never ending boat slap made for unexpectedly sleepless nights unfortunately. We decided to spend the last nights we were there anchored in front of Coconut Club and it was actually WAY more enjoyable. We loved the cruisers net, the grocery store, and the straw market! What a great place to spend a little time in a fun community of people ⛵️

This isn’t an exact track, but a close representation of our trip from Big Farmers down to Rudder Cay and then Lee Stocking. We actually did that in two separate little trips. It got a little stressful going through the Pimlico bypass, definitely want to do this at high tide! There was a lot of traffic out today but we made the best of it. Rudder had some amazing sand flats and cool caves you could take your dinghy in to explore. One was a coral cave and the other a beach cave. Highly recommended!

Turtle paradise. Beaches are so pretty here and there are also goats that come down to the beach! Anchorage is all sand and a good hold. We liked it here very much!

Cave adventures await in this little slice of paradise! We hung out here to let some stormy weather pass and when it wasn’t storming we really loved exploring this little cay.

Made our way down to Staniel Cay to stay at Thunderball Grotto! Lovely snorkeling in the grotto, and we also visited the famous Pig Beach. Though the pigs were not really my favorite part of this adventure it was amazing to see them swim, and of course the piglets are adorable. We were even here at just the right time to play some Black Jack at the James Bond Casino Royale poker charity event at the Yacht Club. Met some really great cruisers on the cruisers beach and had an awesome time!

We hopped on down to Warderick Wells on this fine St Patrick’s Day to attempt to get a slightly better anchorage to avoid these winds to come. The Emerald Rocks are a bit smaller than the ‘ol Emerald Isle but it sure is pretty here. Sláinte friends!

Slow leisurely sail enjoying the day and making water. Shroud Cay is beautiful. Arrived at low tide but was still able to juuuuust make it into the anchorage without getting stuck in the sand. Busy anchorage here with lots of really big yachts! Excited to see what adventures await.

We had an easy sail from the Berry Islands (Whale Cay) to the Exumas. We are starting our adventure here in Highbourne, but Allan’s Cay is absolutely stunning and we spent a good bit of time enjoying the beautiful little Cays there. The iguanas are everywhere!! The restaurant here, Xuma, was expensive but delicious. We met some fun sailors and the staff was really friendly.

Full day sail today! Left at first light with a beautiful sunrise over Mackie Shoal. Light winds and relatively calm seas while we made our way through the North West Channel on our way to find a calm anchorage off Chub Cay! Very peaceful here.

A quick and easy sail to Honeymoon Harbor to hang on the beach 🏝️☀️🌊

Our first true Gulf Stream crossing!! The morning started out with bashing into 6ft plus waves as we left Key Largo. We prepared for the worst but by the time we could see Bimini ahead we were surfing comfortably down the waves with momentarily top speeds of 12 knots!

You sang that title like The Beach Boys right? Great. From Key West to Key Largo on a quiet calm day. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.

Sadly we didn’t actually see any turtles. If an overwhelming number of birds are your jam though, than this would be the place to be. The weather was gorgeous and the Dry Tortugas park was fascinating. Lots of interesting history to learn and such a beautiful place to explore. We stopped at the Marquesas Keys on the way back and anchored at Boo Boo Key. It was a quiet, peaceful, and picturesque place to enjoy nature and excellent company.

The first passage on Perfect Dream! This trip was rough. Exciting and definitely a life experience I won’t soon forget, but the weather was not ideal 🤣 Good crew and good times despite feeling a lot of seasickness!
