The scenery off the coast of Baja Mexico has been absolutely unmatchedâgolden sunsets, calm waters, and sea life greeting us at every anchorage. Soaking in my second-to-last week in the place âwhere the desert meets the seaâ, before heading across the Pacific to spend time with family.
Our final leg north before we begin heading south again. The cliffs were absolutely stunning, and Iâm looking forward to catching the sunrise tomorrow!
We left La Paz and spent a few days anchored off Isla San Francisco. Itâs been a warm weekâtemperatures hit 35°C (around 94°F) on a couple of days. Thankfully, when we got back, we made the most of a rare afternoon off with a much-needed swim. We also celebrated my 26th birthday aboard!! đ đ đ
Crew dive day around Isla EspĂritu Santo! We swam with tons of sea lionsâone especially friendly one couldnât get enough cuddles. Our second dive took us to Fang Ming, a Chinese cargo ship intentionally sunk in 1999 to create an artificial reef. An incredible wreck dive just off the islandâs coast!
Back on the mainland after a smooth week-long crossing from the GalĂĄpagos to Mexico. Great weather, calm seas, and good company from whales and frigate birds along the way.
Just got back from about 16 days cruising around the GalĂĄpagosâand it was nonstop magic. Every day brought a new island, with early morning anchor pickups and plenty of night crossings that kept the deck busy. We hiked across otherworldly lava fields, snorkeled with sea lions, spotted lava lizards, and even swam alongside GalĂĄpagos penguins. One unforgettable night, over 70 sharks circled the boatâjust casually hanging out like it was no big deal. We were lucky to have two amazing guides (thank you Paola and Yvonne!) who brought us to hidden gems and shared so many cool facts and stories along the way. Wild, busy, and absolutely incredible from start to finish.
