Nava sailed beautifully in a very gentle sea breeze. Summer has found us, and we have just discovered our new favorite place to hang out. 🌞⚓️
Today we had every sail in use. We started with the code 0, then set the code D, later we sailed with our jib and the mainsail. The wind got stronger and stronger and we arrived in Corsica with 2 reefs in the mainsail and 3 reefs in the jib. Because Nava sailed so fast we reached Corsica earlier than planned. Happy to go to bed now.
After dropping our friend off in Marseille the Mistral pushed us eastwards today. Fun and fast sail 💙 No we have to hop in the dinghy to find a grocery shop.

At the beginning of May we have to be near Montpellier. So with wind from the right direction we took the opportunity to sail to the Spanish mainland. Found a pretty anchorage.
A peaceful sail on a cloudy day with little wind.
Our longest passage yet just the two of us. Almost 400 nm in 50 h. We started in very light wind but after half a day the wind picked up and brought us to our destination quickly. We are looking forward to relaxing and spending some time on the Balearic Islands. 🥾🏝️

We woke up excited this morning to pass the Strait of Gibraltar. We started with very little wind and 2 knots of boat speed. Luckely the wind picked up later and we had a nice sail to Gibraltar. Hiked up the mountain to see the apes and sunset.
First 4h of motoring and then a very light wind sail to get us closer to the street of Gibraltar. Luckely no encounter with orcas.
today we got plenty of salt and fresh water showers.
