Big day for big bad stinky crew. Fortunately, there are coin-showers here?! I am now clean and smell soapy :) 🫶
Which slow boat is the least slow!! Great big vibes with the cruising fam
Food tastes better on a boat
Getting through the tidal gate at Gabriola Passage to anchor at Kendrick Island, to prep for an early strait crossing in the morning ✅✨
How many headsails is too many headsails? Rigging the janky kite, jib, AND a stay sail for light wind boredom fun (we call it double-blooper-cowboy-mode)
2 crew is better than none
If you don’t cruise your racing Martin 242, are you even living??
Don’t be fooled by these photos— real practice did take place #fastandwet
Operation Rhubarb Extraction launched at 1100 from Ganges (the town—no, we do not endorse Gang violence). The objective: secure and evacuate 2 rhubarb danishes before hostile forces (i.e., other hungry locals) could intervene. Team deployed via civilian transport, maintained pastry integrity through high-risk transit conditions (BC Ferry), and delivered the goods to the ferry lineup on Vancouver Island. Danishes were consumed. Target status: delicious. Operation status: successful. RIP rhubarb danishes
“Out of all the B.C. Ferries this one looks like it would sink the quickest” — Evan Robson, Engineer (I’m sorry for my unserious use of this app but I swear I will log real trips when Canada thaws. Sincerely, your Canadian user base)
We sacrificed Evan’s hat to the wind gods— to guarantee this upcoming season will be breezy AF 🧢🙏
Good boats deserve to be taken for spa day✨ … and all before 8AM, to get to work!
