I started sailing 6 years ago, following some time spent working in shipyards in the Pacific Northwest. I learned to sail as crew during the summer in the Caribbean, took courses, and purchased a small Catalina 250 to coastal cruise in California. Ready to cruise full time, my wife and I bought a Beneteau 40CC and spent a season cruising from Turks & Caicos to Martinique. We are now between boats and looking to get out on the water again soon, hoping for two hulls. We currently spend our time in California, surfing, sailing, and snowboarding.
