The day started off pretty normal, the usual boat traffic and tugs pulling huge barges while we’re leaving the inlet. Swells a few miles off the shoreline were 4-5ft but hitting us directly on the beam, making a rocky trip early on. Summer got seasick for the first time hurling over and over… and over and over. Swell died down around 11pm and we were just in the outside of Little Bahama Bank. We rang in the New Year just as we crossed Memory Rock passage. We continued on doing shifts through the morning and had a beautiful clear sky as the sun came up and we could see that awesome turquoise water! We dropped anchor at Great Sale Cay, we were tired from the rough Gulf Stream and Summer’s puking. Going to wait out some north wind coming through tomorrow, then head to Green Turtle to check in on Wednesday!
