The Caribbean 600 is 50% dark. So, I took my amateur crew on an overnight sail around Redonda. It was a windward - leeward. We gybed and dropped the kite in the dark. Rounded the rock. Sailed upwind. It got windy. Peeled the jib down from the J2 to the J3. Got very wet. Faced some fear. And arrived home to a sunrise and a swim.
